Medec Infra Private Limited has a state-of-the-art pretreatment plant designed to ensure optimal surface preparation prior to finishing processes. The facility features 10 pretreatment tanks constructed with precision, sized at 3000 mm (length) × 1000 mm (width) × 1550 mm (height). All operations are PLC controlled to guarantee accurate and efficient treatment of goods.

The pretreatment tanks include the following stages, all fabricated from mild steel (MS) with specific linings and insulation as required:

• Degreasing tank: MS construction with water heating, insulation, and lining.
• Water rinsing tanks: MS construction, without lining or heating, used twice at different stages.
• De-rusting tank: MS construction with lining but without water heating or insulation.
• Additional water rinsing stages: MS construction with lining, without water heating.
• Activation tank: MS construction, no lining, no water heating.
• Phosphate tank: MS construction with water heating, insulation, and lining.
• Final water rinsing: MS construction without lining, no water heating.
• Passivation tank: MS construction with water heating, insulation, and lining.

The plant is equipped with a water heating system, including a hot water generator, and a batch-type water drying oven suitable for curing the coatings.

Powder Coating Booth

The facility houses a semi-conveyorized powder coating booth equipped with a powder recovery system. The booth is custom-designed to accommodate large-sized articles and considers jigging and handling requirements to ensure efficient coating. The booth opening is adaptable to future larger articles, with air circulation designed to contain overspray powder for effective recovery. Two manual operators apply the powder coating, working back to back to ensure complete coverage.
